A coated card is a useful typography test only when the coating and blank supplier are known. A good result on one card should not be treated as evidence for every coated or bare metal card.
Plan the actual job
Make a small test layout containing uppercase text, lowercase text, a logo and several line weights. Keep all elements within the confirmed working area. Use blanks from the same batch and note which side was processed. Test a spare card before producing a customer version. A card-sized paper proof helps judge margins without spending a blank on an oversized composition.
Inspect before making a batch
Check fine lines under ordinary light and rub the sample gently after appropriate cleaning to inspect the finish. P2 2W is $169 at checkout; this coated-blank workflow is not a claim of direct bare-metal engraving.
A compact personalization workflow
P2 is the compact TYVOK galvo-style product family for small gifts, tags, leather pieces and other tested compatible blanks. The live page lists 2W, 5W and 10W choices. Select by the actual material, object positioning and job requirements; wattage alone is not a compatibility chart. The 5W configuration is listed as pre-order. Confirm current availability and fulfillment timing on the product page before promising a dated customer job.
