Before handing over a multipage laser project, identify the intended page by name and verify its artwork in Preview. A correct file name is insufficient when that file contains several related layouts. Check shared cut settings as well: separate pages do not mean separate process settings.
The September 16 LightBurn announcement introduces Pages in LightBurn 2.2 RC1 Early Access. Treat this as an optional software evaluation, not a required production update. It has not been tested here on TYVOK hardware; retain the stable workflow already approved for your shop.
Name pages for physical work
A page called “Front sign, oak sample B” gives the next operator more useful information than “Page 3.” Use a name that connects the artwork to the actual blank, intended face or assembly position. Avoid relying on the page thumbnail alone when two versions differ by a small word or mounting hole.
Keep related graphics together, but do not treat one multipage file as the only archive for unrelated customers. Save independent recoverable project copies. Organization can reduce visual confusion without providing protection against file loss or an accidental overwrite.
Know what pages share
The official Pages documentation states that shapes are separate between pages, while cut settings and other file settings are shared. Changing a layer's process settings while looking at one page therefore requires checking other pages using that layer.

Do not infer that selecting a file sends every page, or that a thumbnail determines output scope. Inspect the active page and the actual preview in the installed version. If anything differs from the recorded sample, resolve that difference before running the machine.
Make the last inspection about the job
The TYVOK X1S Pro is positioned for large-format workshop engraving and cutting with LightBurn support. Those product facts make file organization useful, but do not establish 2.2 RC1 qualification or automatic multipage production.
For an unfamiliar software version, compare the actual travel order after an update with the accepted job. For a shorter order, separately confirm the selected rows of a variable-text array. Page identity, movement order and output quantity answer different questions.
Does duplicating a page give it independent layer settings?
The documented page system shares cut settings across the file. Do not change a shared layer expecting only the duplicate to be affected. If two jobs require independently managed process settings, plan their file structure accordingly and inspect each output.
Can the next operator start from the thumbnail alone?
No. Similar thumbnails can hide a changed name, an extra outline or a wrong face. The operator should compare the page name, visible artwork, enabled output and physical blank, then review Preview and framing before starting.
