Return to a known-good copy of the logo, then resize proportionally using one target dimension. Locking the ratio after an image has already been squashed only preserves the damaged proportions. If you no longer have the original, recover a documented width-to-height ratio before changing the artwork again.

Recover the shape before choosing its final size
Open the original asset separately and compare an easily recognized feature: a circular emblem, letter spacing, or a square border. Check the artwork itself rather than judging a photograph taken at an angle. Perspective can make a correct printed or engraved object appear distorted.
If the original logo is 60mm wide and 20mm high, its ratio is 3:1. Reducing its width to 30mm should produce a height of 10mm. A 30 × 20mm version has been compressed horizontally; setting a ratio lock at that point would keep the incorrect 1.5:1 shape.
Replace the distorted copy with the original where possible. When recovery requires entering dimensions, first establish the correct shape from reliable source dimensions, then enable proportional resizing if the editor provides it. Save a separate corrected version so the reference remains available.
Do not let empty margins set the ratio
A raster image may include a white or transparent border. Its file width-to-height ratio describes the whole image, including that border, rather than just the visible logo. Cropping one side changes the overall ratio without necessarily deforming the design.
Compare like with like: original full image against full image, or a consistently cropped mark against the same crop. For vector art, check whether an invisible object or clipping shape expands the selection. Avoid forcing the visible logo to match dimensions measured from a differently cropped source.

Use familiar geometry as a visual witness
A known circle must remain equally wide and high before rotation or other effects. A numerically exact circle construction can provide a reference object in an editor that supports that procedure. It helps expose a distorted export or display; it does not recover an unknown logo ratio by itself.
Rotation requires a different diagnosis. If the logo looks correct but selected width changes after turning it, investigate rotated bounding dimensions before altering the shape.
Transfer the corrected artwork carefully
The A1 Mini listing presents a compact blue-diode workflow with a 120 × 130mm working area. Confirm the application, accepted artwork format, and actual machine setup before transferring a file. That working-area figure does not guarantee that every edited design or material is suitable.
Will switching on the aspect-ratio lock fix an oval logo?
It prevents further independent resizing in editors that support the feature, but it usually retains the current proportions. Restore the original shape first.
Why does my correctly proportioned logo become blurry when enlarged?
A raster source contains a finite number of pixels. Enlarging it can expose those limits even when the ratio is correct. Obtain a higher-resolution original or suitable vector source instead of repeatedly stretching the small image.
