Identify the exact material, surface geometry and permitted marking area. Obtain the owner's approved inscription and confirm whether the manufacturer permits the modification. Practice on a representative spare part rather than an assembled valuable watch. Keep the layout away from existing serials and service information. A holding reference should prevent movement without loading delicate components or obscuring the engraving area.

A metal-focused machine choice
P2 Ultra is the listed 20W 1064nm fiber metal engraver. It serves a different material path from the compact P2 gift workflow and the larger X1S panel workflow. Evaluate the exact alloy, coating, object geometry and holding method on representative spare material before accepting a final piece. Curved work may need a separately confirmed accessory setup; this machine offer does not establish that a rotary or other fixture is included.
