I'm excited to used this Spider X1S Laser, I have set it up in a case with an aftermarket ventilation fan for more airflow. I have been running into random problems with just my set up, nothing about the Laser (but I have only used the Laser 1 time so far, and the drawing module a few times) now I have a good ventilation system I am about to do some test but so far I am excited to use the Laser some more

Everything was great to set up and get it rolling. The set program was easy to follow step by step.
My rating is due to 2 issues when I did the box opening the Woking Plate was bent on one corner when folded in half. I was able to re-bend it so it wasn't to big of a deal breaker. The 2nd issue was the laser set up was ok the Lightburn software. I was trying to make sure some of my projects work the software would say the travel was outside of the allows space. It's been a few days working it out but it's works now so I have access to the full bed size use.
I'm happy with the laser and soon to start making things.

The Laser A-1 unit is great and will work nicely for what I purchased it for. The only problem I have at present with this particular order is that one of the A-1 support legs was damaged in shipping (the box was dropped on edge during shipment). I've sent an email to support but have not received a response regarding this issue. If I could get this resolved, then everything would be perfect and worthy of a 5 star rating.

I purchased this for large format engraving. The package arrived sealed and undamaged but most importantly ON TIME. Setup was straight forward and easy to understand. A couple of little hiccups along the way but tech support was prompt and precise. I would buy another one in a heartbeat.

This upgrade ensures that the sides of the frame are running parrallel and removes the brackets inside the working space. The spider X1 does not jam or skip in the frame anymore. It now requires less re-adjustments and less failed engraving projects.

It was a case of biting off more than I could chew. The user interface is very professional. As a newbee I just haven’t figured out the ins and outs yet.

I ordered the Air Assist Pro for X1S. Then I realise that my machine was Spider X1. The staff assured me that the Assist Pro is compatible with the X1. Even sent me a free adapter. Very happy with the staff clear explanation. Thank you.

I’m enjoying setting up machine but there are certain aspects of light burn and how it works with the spider which make no sense. I watched tyvok’s video and it didn’t help. This is not a machine for someone who hasn’t worked with GRBL before.

I just get my Spider X1 a week ago and the LightBurn Software. It is pretty straightforward to use. I know there is so much more to learn but I am already able to create some incredible engravings with it just in a few days time.
