A metal branding plate has to fit the product's attachment plan. A clear logo alone does not prove that the plate will sit flat or leave enough room for rivets.
Plan the actual job
Request the plate material and finish specification and prepare an authorized logo file. Reserve attachment holes and a clean edge margin before sizing the logo. Test a spare plate, then mount it to a representative sample of the finished product. Check how light reflects from the mark in its installed position. Keep the plate drawing and product assembly notes linked so future revisions do not drift apart.
Inspect before making a batch
Approve logo clarity and mounting fit as separate checks. P2 Ultra costs $999 at checkout; leather goods, plates and mounting hardware are separate purchases and need their own suitability evaluation.
A metal-focused machine choice
P2 Ultra is the listed 20W 1064nm fiber metal engraver. It serves a different material path from the compact P2 gift workflow and the larger X1S panel workflow. Evaluate the exact alloy, coating, object geometry and holding method on representative spare material before accepting a final piece. Curved work may need a separately confirmed accessory setup; this machine offer does not establish that a rotary or other fixture is included.
