Why focus on cases like batch cutting and engraving, such as creating coasters? First and foremost, with a large working area, it's possible to produce many products at once without supervision. A single operation can complete the entire process. While there are other methods for batch processing, such as using a galvo system (vibrating mirror), which can engrave quickly, there are some limitations. Specifically, in scenarios that require both cutting and mass production, the galvo system's lower power can present challenges. While it works fast, each batch needs to be manually removed and repositioned, meaning constant supervision is required. Additionally, if you want to create a variety of designs in bulk, you need to handle separate files for each item.
In contrast, with the Tyvok Spider S1, batch production becomes far more efficient. First, the positions for each design are assigned across the large working area. The laser engraver then confirms these positions, and the content to be engraved is spread across these points. Both the file setup and physical layout can be completed in one operation. After that, it’s just a matter of starting the machine, and the entire batch is completed automatically.
In one such case, we processed 160 coasters (10x16 layout) in a single session. The potential for creating even more is there, making large-format batch production highly convenient while reducing the need for manual intervention. This significantly enhances operational efficiency.
